Clay

One notion we have for our class experientials, is to play and make with clay. Since this was not included in the course description, I just wanted to check in with you all and make sure it’s a viable option.

The idea is for each of you to acquire about 1 kg/2 lbs. of clay and bring it to some of our classes (you’ll be notified when to bring). Sample clays are below.

Air-Hardening Clay Sample Options (~$12)

• Craftsmart Natural Clay (white/gray/terracotta, 2.5 lbs.)

• ACTIVA Supreme Artist’s Air-Dry Modeling Clay (3.3 lbs.)

• Laguna Self-Hardening Modeling Clay (terracotta, 5lbs.)

  Natural preferred, air-dry suggested unless you’re an experienced maker

There are also many other options and materials with which we can play-make-build-craft worlds together. I just would like to know if clay is possible, for planning purposes. Responses are anonymous :)
