About the Course
The Zodiac offers a kind of kaleidoscopic vision of life to which each creature contributes its own turn. Each animal — each astrological symbol, planet, mythic character, archetype— perceives through its own unique intelligence. Each filters life through the lens of its own particular sensorium, its own agendas, priorities, evolutionary adaptations and limits, strengths and vulnerabilities, hungers and desires. Each lives in its own perceptual world, that is distinct from others, both enlivened and limited by its own particular logic and language.
But this kaleidoscopic capacity of sensing a multiplicity of worlds, collapses or skews when one creature who reigns supreme with the correct story.
This course is for those who feel called to steward a diversity of creaturely perspectives, to feel one’s embeddedness within a web of myriad human and other-than-human relations while developing a stronger sense of self-acceptance, self-reliance and confidence through tending connection to their instinctual core.

And experiential astrology is an opportunity to drop in and experience this — to experience our place inside of the Zodiac as well as the Zodiac within.
The intention here is to cultivate an internal environment that sustains a complexity of Life, so that we can access more perspectives, more ways of perceiving-being-moving-knowing, more creatures linking together to enrich our life here on Earth with their unique wisdom and resilience.
Although the pattern of your birth chart may appear to stay the same, your inner Sky is teeming with ways of seeing that can sustain an infinitely generous conversation between the human and the animal.

What are the sessions like?
Upon signing up, you’ll receive a link to schedule three separate 90-minute sessions to be scheduled one to three weeks apart.
During those sessions, I’ll guide you through a process of felt-sense inquiry that breathes spaciousness between your reflective presence and the creature that is wanting to relate and participate in more of your inner and outer world.
We’ll resource the field of astrological symbolism and myth to help orient to a wider context for deeper meaning-making and connection to the celestial allyship that already lives around your conversation and co-creative process with this creature.
I’ll also facilitate experiential methods, such as connection to color, journaling, movement, art-making, ritual and ceremony — as ways to anchor, hold and nourish your reflective and creative process, and conversation with Soul.
What do I need to sign up?
Your Birth Information
When you sign up, you’ll receive a form to fill out your exact birth date, time and location. This information is kept private and only used to pull up your birth chart.
A Foundation of Self-Care
These sessions are meant to be joy and play based sources of Self-discovery, renewal, growth and connection. They are not psychotherapy nor a substitute for psychotherapy. However, since we may be connecting to the felt-sense and the body, and the body is a beautiful storehouse of memory, emotion, impulse, instinct, sensation — we know that it sometimes can bring us unexpected places. Participants are required to come with a current self-care practice and familiarity with their nervous system. While our connection with each other and with the astrological field can be richly resourcing, participants are ultimately expected to be responsible for their own wellbeing and what they need to do to take care of themselves.
A Willingness to Play!
Play doesn’t always or often come easily in relationship to hard things and tough times. But, often, it is exactly what we need to re-cognize — or see anew — ourselves, each other and the situation at hand.
What level of astrological fluency do I need to participate?
Astrology prerequisites
Fundamentals are helpful (signs, planets, houses, aspects). However if you don’t have any or very minimal astrology background, that’s okay too because your astrology lives within you! While I will orient you to the basics of your birth chart — offering context and story to the detail and depth as is desired and helpful to you and your inquiry or creative process — this work is designed to offer ways for you to directly experience and discover this living wisdom through your own body, mind and imagination, while inside of a grounded container and guided practice.
Art & Myth prerequisites
No prior experience with art or myth is needed! Come with a willingness to let play and embodied participation be a source of wisdom and insight. Leave with a deeper relationship with yourself, your body and the living cosmos.
Why is it called Magic Eye?
I’m reminded of those Magic Eye books from the 90s, where you look at a page of just computer-generated data that looks like a mess of color and patterns …
and are invited to relax your eyes
focusing just beyond the apparent picture
until another picture appears —
but this one has more dimensionality to it.
It feels like a good metaphor for Uranus’ time in Gemini except with Uranus, instead of just one multi-dimensional image popping out, there are infinite possibilities of images that can pop out — depending on the frame and context, and depending on your focus.
