Neptune in Aries

What is it that you truly want?

What makes you come alive?

What new beginnings are you being ushered towards?

What are you ‘going after’ and how can you possibly ‘get there’?

This 14-year transit of Neptune in Aries is a time when answering these kinds of questions and going on their related quests becomes more nonlinear, non-rational and multi-dimensional than ever.

Come embark on an odyssey of COLOR through the living Sky as a way to tend reciprocity between your own embodied experience and the paradoxical union of these two archetypal energies.

Color

Color is an evocative language of the Body, Soul and Spirit that we are already well-versed in, but can cultivate with more care and attention.

Color is magnetic and can draw you into having a more sensuous experience of astrology.

Color is an oracle. Through the embodied inclusion of its particular perspective, a single color that you’re drawn to, or that is drawn to you, can bring novel insight and imagery to a situation.

Color is something readily available to our innate sense of balance and harmony, cutting through mental interference or conditioning around what should work for us or should feel good to us.

Color drops us into an open heart-perception that’s grounded in Body and Earth.

Color is a way to become more responsible and attuned Dreamers (hello Saturn & Neptune in Aries!) through Play and Pleasure.

Opening your channels of color perception

“Channels of color perception” refers to all of that in you which experiences aliveness and receives physical and symbolic information through Color.

Who is iris?

Iris is the goddess of the rainbow in Greek mythology. As daughter of sea-god Thaumas and cloud-nymph Elektra, and often seen bridging between Sea and Sky, the Greeks believed she replenished rainclouds with water from the sea.

Iris is the personal messenger of Hera. Hera, ancient Mother Goddess. Hera, tutelary diety of Water. Hera, guide of the tender path to understanding through deep feeling.

Iris, the rainbow & astrology

Most of us are familiar with relating to our birth chart or the current astrology through horoscopes or chart interpretations. But the interpretative chart reading is just one of many “ways in” to meeting the Sky.

Connecting to Iris and the rainbow is a way to enter the living astrological and mythic field that opens up our sensitivities. It involves a particular engagement of our sensuous, aesthetic, instinctual, intuitive and imaginative ways of knowing that only Color can romance us into.

Is it for you?

  • Inspire your art with an ensouled conversation with Color. Invite the rainbow to share her voice and to reveal herself anew within the ancient living field of Myth and Astrology.

  • Embodied astrology can help us to, in the words of Audre Lorde, “give name to those ideas which are — until the poem — nameless and formless, about to be birthed, but already felt.”

Entering the field of astrology through Color is one way to remember some hidden, quiet but right-here living intelligence(s), which could not be arrived at any other way but by dropping in, fully feeling and having an experience.

  • From this place of lived experience, words can become rooted and illuminated from within by their own secret lives and fluidities, offering portals into memory, feeling, sensation and the deeper archetypal story-fields that connect humanity. Words glow and glisten, from the deeper waters of mystery and your own dreaming within it.

  • Whatever the age of your child, it serves your relationship with them to have embodiment practices that expand the range of sensation and emotion to which you can bring your full presence and compassion.

Working with Color is one embodiment practice that opens up your heart to play, which allows you to sustain the emotional depth that working with youth inevitably draws us into.

    Come fill your cup.

  • If you want to learn the language of the flowers and stones or otherwise deepen your receptivity and communication with the Earth, tending to your Color sensitivies is a powerful way in to this intimate conversation.

  • Balance personal health and self-care routines with a practice of play and pleasure.

Inspire your embodiment journey with a sense of imagination, beauty, mystery, flow with the universe and love for the questions.

Work with Color as a multi-dimensional messenger that helps the symptom as symbol speak (e.g. you’ve been interested in the Louise Hay kind of metaphysical underpinnings of ailments — but are really longing for a way to be in symbolic conversation with the body that feels emergent, personal, dynamic, authentic and grounded.)

Why COLOR?

Participating in the world primarily through our rational or cognitive intelligence tends to limit our imagination to old agreements and mental maps of the world.

Working with Color helps stretch the space between the physical body (Aries) and the languaging mind (Gemini), so you can receive information that may not yet be accessible to the languaging mind but that can be revealed and symbolized through Play. It allows for fresh insight and understanding to come through and be shared.

WHy Now?

As we enter the era of Fire and Air — with Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries — we can expect the pace to pick up with respect to information flow and reality-creation. Whether we’re using AI or not, this astrology can lead to a flow of detached or unrooted (i.e. ‘artificial’ intelligence) that amplifies the illusion of being able to move faster than our bodies, our nervous systems, our communities and the Earth can sustain. How we are focusing our attention and implicitly or explicitly agreeing about something, can gather into clouds of shared story-worlds that feel and become real to us very quickly. But also with Saturn arriving in Aries to Neptune’s journey here, we’ll more readily receive feedback and feel the consequences of our dreaming together as social bodies (both internally as a collective of parts of Self, and externally as a collective).

The invitation here is to continue weaving our minds with the Earth, the body, the sensuous, the slow and the roots below. And to continue hydrating our creative processes with Water, deep feeling, care and tenderness.

Engaging the current astrology through our Color senses and mythic consciousness offers a rich Play-space to mutually discover and co-create embodied, interconnected and inspired ways of participating in the world at this time.
