This 14-year transit of Neptune in Aries is a time when asking questions around what we truly want and going on their related quests becomes more nonlinear, non-rational and multi-dimensional than ever.

Come embark on an odyssey of COLOR through the living Sky as a way to discover the creative capacities of our embodied Being through surrendering to the paradoxical union of these archetypal energies.

Color is a language that you already know, but can refine and cultivate with more care and attention.

Color is magnetic and can help draw you into a more sensuous experience of astrology.

Color is an oracle. Through the embodied inclusion of its particular perspective, a single color that you’re drawn to (or that is drawn to you) can carry novel insight and imagery to a situation.

Color is something readily available to our innate sense of balance and harmony, cutting through mental interference or conditioning around what should work for us or should feel good to us.

Color drops us into an open heart-perception that’s grounded in Body and Earth.

“Channels of color perception” refers to that in you which experiences aliveness and receives physical and symbolic information through Color.

Who is iris?

Iris is the goddess of the rainbow in Greek mythology and personal messenger to Hera, Queen of Heaven. As daughter of sea-god Thaumas and cloud-nymph Elektra, often seen bridging between Sea and Sky, the Greeks believed she replenished rainclouds with water from the sea.

Most of us are familiar with relating to our birth chart or the current astrology through horoscopes or chart interpretations. But the interpretative chart reading is just one of many “ways in” to meeting the Sky.

Connecting to Iris and the rainbow is a “way in” to the living astrological and mythic field, in a way that refines our physical and spiritual sense-perception, opening up our ability to communicate and relate with the human and more-than-human world.

Why COLOR?

Participating in the world primarily through our cognitive intelligence tends to limit our imagination to old agreements and mental maps of the world.

Working with Color helps stretch the space between the physical body (Aries) and the languaging mind (Gemini), so you can receive information that may not yet be accessible to the rational mind but that can be revealed and symbolized through Play. It allows for fresh insight and understanding to come through and be shared.

WHy Now?

As we enter the era of Fire and Air — with Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, Saturn and Neptune in Aries — we can expect the pace to pick up with respect to information flow and reality-creation. This astrology can lead to a flow of detached or unrooted that amplifies the illusion of being able to move faster than our bodies, our nervous systems, our relationships and the Earth can sustain. How we are focusing our attention and implicitly or explicitly agreeing about something, can gather into clouds of shared story-worlds that feel and become real and have consequences for us very quickly. With Saturn joining the beginning of Neptune’s time in Aries, we’ll more readily receive feedback around where we are trying to bypass the necessary initiations that would bring us into an embodiment of the capacities and competencies we actually need to steward love and life within the realities we long to and are creating.

Engaging the current astrology through our Color senses and mythic consciousness offers a rich Play-space to mutually discover and co-create responsible and inspired ways of participating in the world at this time.
