Embodied Astrology Workshops

In accordance with this time of Neptune in Aries, we’ll invite the body and its more non-rational intelligences forward to speak and share with us their more sensuous, aesthetic, kinesthetic, instinctual, intuitive and imaginative ways of knowing. 

There will be various contemplative and experiential prompts (journaling, storytelling, movement, art-making, color play, group conversation) to help us actively participate in the current times in ways that make space for a re-membering, resourcing and giving back to our wider web of relations, including our animal, plant, stone, celestial, ancestral, song and story allies.

From this place, we’ll learn how to become better stewards of the stories that shape our lived experience, so that we can, in the words of Audre Lorde, “make our lives and the lives of our children richer and more possible”.

This is for both newcomers & seasoned astrologers, alike. No astrology or art experience necessary. Come with a willingness to play; leave with a deeper relationship to yourself, your body and the living cosmos.

Participation Agreements

These sessions are meant to be joy and play-based sources of Self-discovery, renewal, growth and connection. They are not psychotherapy nor a substitute for psychotherapy. However, since we may be connecting to the felt-sense and the body, and the body is a beautiful storehouse of memory, emotion, impulse, instinct, sensation — we know that it sometimes can bring us unexpected places. Participants are expected to come with a current self-care practice and familiarity with their nervous system. While our connection with each other and with the astrological field can be richly resourcing, participants are expected to be responsible for their own wellbeing and what they need to do to take care of themselves.
