Welcome

• MAKE: An altar that will help hold space for you on your journey. Gather objects that feel personally symbolic of your natal Cancer place and planets —and, if you’d like, any planets currently transiting or progressing through Cancer. You might begin with a very simple altar, and let it slowly gather and collect things, as is the way of the Crab! If possible, return any pieces you’ve collected from the land with thanks, when complete.

• JOURNAL: When you call to mind the animal of the Crab, what comes up for you? Similarly, when you call to mind the archetype of Cancer, what comes up? Where is Cancer in your chart? What house is Cancer at the cusp of? What planets are here? What longings, memories, questions, fears, dreams, hopes, frustrations do you feel connected to this place and these planets?

• INVITE friends you might think enjoy coming along with you! (But also, please don’t share course materials unless they are signed up, thank you!).

  • Shared company can exponentially enhance the connections made, revealed and felt. This includes your human friends as well as benevolent ancestors, allies, guides from whom you feel support and resourcing — and who maybe you already feel coming forward as you begin here.
