have you ever remembered an event in your life under an entirely new light or fresh perspective, so that it looked or felt completely different?

Through astrological contemplation, exploration of myth, creative prompts and storytelling, we will spark our imaginations and widen the frame of context, so that we can look back upon our lives with an enriched sense of meaning, fulfillment and inner wisdom.

Together we will tend to and share from our personal wellsprings of nourishing memories and surprisingly connected story-threads.

Experiential Astrology with Nicole Feola

Current Focus: The Astrological Sign of Cancer (Archetype of the Great Mother, the Crab, the Caregiver, Nurturer).

  • Friday Mornings

  • More time slots can open as participants sign up.

Frequency: Weekly

Duration: 2 hours each

Payment:

  • $75 for three gatherings ($25 per 2-hr meeting)

  • Or, save $25 by purchasing a package of six ($125 for six 2-hr meetings)

Size: 4-8 participants per group

Core Intentions

Over the course of three 2-hr weekly gatherings, you will be assisted and supported in:

  • Reflecting on a particular area of your life (e.g. Home & Family, Career & Work in the World; Friendship; Marriage; etc) through the lens of the astrological sign of Cancer the Great Mother.

  • Exploring themes of nurturance, belonging, giving & receiving Care, Motherhood, Home, Family, Foundation, roots, remembering.

  • Sharing memories with the group, in ways that allow your stories to be witnessed and feel felt. This could be through oral storytelling or through an artistic expression, written words, poetry, song and so on

  • Remembering our innate inter-connectedness and Home within ourselves.

Group Structure

Before your first gathering:

Upon signing up, you will be invited (although not required) to share your birth information (birth date, time & location) in order to pull up your birth chart.

You will receive a one-page general introduction to the astrological “House” (i.e. area of your life that is associated with the astrological Sign of Cancer). This will include a brief description and some self-reflection questions to open up contemplation.

Structure & Flow of each Gathering:

  1. Grounding meditation/visualization

  2. Prompt to facilitate connection with each other

  3. Astrological contemplations, storytelling together & lucid dreaming of archetypal themes that shape our daily realities and experiences.

  4. Creative prompt (art, collage, movement, gesture, etc)

  5. Reflection & sharing from this creative process

  6. Closing

Discounted 1:1 Birth Chart Readings will be optional and available to participants who desire more opportunity to reflect upon their lives through their birth chart.

Experiential Astrology

I offer deep thanks and gratitude to Jason Holley, my astrology teacher and mentor, for his 1:1 and group work as well as ongoing guidance around this type of group facilitation. His own group containers, experiential astrology approach and invitations to walk the land of the mythic has transformed and expanded my relationship to astrology.

I am also informed and supported by Internal Family Systems (Parts Work) as well as Craniosacral Therapy, which both have supported my body in other ways of listening and being with.

Nicole Feola has been a professional astrologer for 9 years, and a mentor and teacher in Nature-based educational communities for 15 years. She’s an artist, a mother of two amazing humans, is trained in Internal Family Systems and certified in Conscious Parenting Method.
